I seem to have lucked out recently in charity shops and found some really gorgeous items of clothing and pairs of shoes.
All to often, I buy frivolous or impractical things from charity shops, so it's really nice to have found a couple of outfits for myself and Ruby which are really lovely and will be worn loads.
My favourites of the past fortnight are this super flattering vintage wool skirt (£6) and a pair of brand new Marks & Spencer patent heeled brogues (£3).
I've already worn the shoes on a night out, and wore the skirt and shoes together last week at a blogger event at Handmade London. Even though my feet were killing me by the end of the day, it's amazing how different you feel in heels and a skirt after living in jeans and flat boots.
For Ruby I spotted this needlecord tiered skirt by Autograph at M&S for £1.50 and only this morning picked up this adorable pair of unworn leather Mary Janes also from M&S for £2.20.
I love the little leather applique detail and the punched hole design.
It seems to me that charity shop prices are finally coming down. What do you think? Have you noticed more sensible pricing recently?
